Spring Break Activity- Maplewood Farm PDF Print E-mail

For this year's spring break activity  for kids (and adults), NCSBC BOD is organizing a farm visit.

Located in North Vancouver, Maplewood farm offers milking demonstrations (cow, goats), an opportunity to feed farm animals (you will have to take your own veggies for bunnies and buy a bag of birdseed on site for $3) or just watch the Maplewood staff feed the animals (at no extra cost), watch the daily activities of goats and other animals etc. Since we do not get to see these activities on a daily basis, we at the BOD thought this might be a refreshing and an educational event.

The event will be held on Sunday, 27th of March.
Time: 10:00am to 4:00pm
Rate: $4 (Children under 17)
         $7 (17+)
Venue: Maplewood Farm
           405 Seymour River Place . North Vancouver, B.C. Canada V7H 1S6
           Phone: (604) 929-5610

You would also need to bring with you your own lunch, water, and any other items that you and your children might need throughout the day. The staff at the farm said, you night want to bring your foods in plastic containers rather than just plastic bags because there will be little ducks and other small animals coming to get a share of your food as well :)

If you are interested to join us, please let me (Alice Poudel) know at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it or 604-440-1906 so that we can give the farm an idea about how many people they could expect.

Thank you and hope all of you can make it!

Sincerely,
Alice
